this long weekend was absolutely ridiculous. it's too early in the school year for us all to become hermits and become attached to our computers, so we took full advantage of an extra day off and went crazy.
Wednesday was one of my best friend's 21st birthdays. And, well, you know how that goes. And Thursday night is $2.50 Long Island iced teas at Peter's in Oakland. And then it was actually the weekend:
2 am pizza runs.
crazy cab drivers.
kegs in bathtubs.
2+ hour naps.
falafel dinner parties.
shots, shots, shots, shots.
fog-filled dance floors.
consumption of an entire tub of Tofutti Better than Cream Cheese.
shopping for club wear (I felt underdressed at Whim in a miniskirt and riding boots).
outdoor pong and dance parties.
really chill police.
heart to hearts.
bowls and bowls of cereal...
And now it's Monday and I am so happy to have some work to do and a little time away from alcohol. Can you believe that our library was closed today?! They should know by now that it is the Carnegie Mellon way to work hard, party hard, and procrastinate for as long as possible.
How did you celebrate the holiday weekend?
