yesterday's trip to The Great Escape, a Six Flags park, was a bit of a roller coaster ride itself.
highs: lots of giddy screaming on rides, doing lots of people-watching
lows: waiting in stupidly long lines, returning to a dead car battery and the refusal of park staff to help us AT ALL (we had to call in a friend from nearby. not cool, Great Escape, NOT COOL AT ALL)
despite a setback at the end of the day (my dad left his keys in the car in accessories mode, draining the battery), we had a lot of quality family fun and I've satisfied my roller coaster quota for quite some time.
