Paris didn't seem majestic, or even pretty, from up there.  it was spread out, smoggy, with millions of secrets hidden in the winding streets you could just start to realize from our vantage point.  there you have it, though, the imagined backdrop for almost every romantic movie, the inspiration for Hemingway and Fitzgerald, and while it seemed insignificant and almost too real to me on that chilly November day, I felt myself wanting to venture down, explore, and spend even more time just existing in that city in a way that would make me grow and grow and grow as a creative individual.
