Lemaire for Uniqlo

My inbox keeps reminding me that fall is around the corner, which means we all need to shop, shop, shop for a new wardrobe for the new season. I am easily swayed by promises of free shipping and 50% off, but that usually means I spend wildly outside of my clothing budget for the month, and I just add more grey sweatshirts and striped tees to my already large collections of both. I'm addicted to shopping in a bad way, and while I have a promotion on tap for later this year, I have to continue to stick to my bare bones budget for a few more months until that pay raise kicks in. And yes, if you were wondering, I've never been so impatient in my life.

With frugality in mind, I'm trying to K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid), and remember that I love a uniform and need to enjoy the basic items I already have in my closet. The newly released Lemaire for Uniqlo collection made me want to pick up my credit card as soon as I saw its look book, but I was able to talk myself down and put away my wallet without doing any damage. It's some good outfit inspiration, at the very least, and I know that I can create similar chic looks using the clothes I've already paid good money for. Cozy sweaters are my jam, but thankfully, I already have some ready to go when the air gets crisp. Alas, they aren't cashmere, but I'm confident that someday I'll be able to upgrade them when I can afford it.
